Straight answers, shop owner to shop owner.

These are the questions owners actually ask us about Sparviko, answered plainly. If yours is not here, email sales@sparviko.com and a real person will answer it, usually the same day.

The basics

What it is and what it costs

What is Sparviko?

Sparviko is an AI receptionist built only for independent auto repair shops. She answers every call 24/7, books appointments straight into the shop management system you already use, greets returning customers by name, takes messages, replies to your Google reviews, and shows your advisors who is calling before they pick up. One product, one flat monthly price, built by a shop owner who runs it on his own shop's phones every day.

How much does Sparviko cost?

A one-time $2,500 onboarding that includes your first 45 days of service, then $1,500 a month flat. No per-minute fees, no per-call fees, no feature tiers, and nothing we build is an extra charge. The full list of what is included is on the pricing page.

Does it book appointments into my shop management system?

Yes, that is the whole point. Bookings land as real appointments inside the shop management system you already run, written through that system's own interface, not on a side calendar somebody re-types later. She sees your real schedule up to 30 days out and respects your daily and hourly limits, so she does not overbook. Systems connect differently, so tell us what you run and we will tell you exactly where yours stands today.

Is Sparviko actually running in real shops?

Yes. It has answered the phones at the founder's own shop, Cooper Lake Automotive, every day since December 2025, and it runs at other shops now too. Every figure we publish comes from real shop use, not a demo.

Calls, day and night

How she handles your phone

What happens when someone calls after hours?

She answers immediately, any hour, any night, any holiday. She can book the appointment on the spot or take a message, and she is honest about the clock: after hours she tells callers someone will reach out first thing once the shop is back in, because promising a call back shortly at midnight would be a lie. She never transfers a caller into an empty office, and your dashboard shows exactly which calls came in after hours and what they turned into.

Can it handle our night drop box?

Yes, if your shop has one. She offers the night drop using your exact instructions, read the way you wrote them, and she books the appointment for the day the work will actually happen. A Friday evening key drop over a closed weekend gets booked for Monday, not Friday. Shops without a night drop box never hear it mentioned.

What phone setup do I need?

You keep your existing phone number and your existing phone provider, with no new hardware. During business hours your counter gets about 30 seconds, around six rings, to grab the call first, then she picks up. After hours she answers right away. One note: the caller pop-out on your advisors' screens is the one feature that depends on your phone provider. It needs a provider that offers API access (RingCentral is one example), so it is available only if yours supports it. We check whether yours does during setup, before you count on it, and everything else works with or without it. You can revoke that access at any time.

Can it answer the chat on my website too?

Yes. The same AI that answers your phone can answer typed chat on your website, with the same booking and customer recognition behind it. It is live on our own shop's website today and gets used constantly.

Honesty and limits

What she will and will not say

Will my customers know they are talking to an AI?

If a caller asks whether she is a real person, she says plainly that she is an AI assistant. That is a hard rule at every shop we run, not a setting you can turn off. She sounds natural on the phone and asks one question at a time, but she never pretends to be human.

What happens when it cannot answer a question?

Anyone who asks for a person gets a person. During business hours she transfers to your main line, and if that transfer rings out she recognizes the caller coming back and takes a message instead of starting the call over. After hours she takes a message rather than faking a transfer into an empty office. Every message lands on your dashboard sorted by what the caller needs, and open follow-ups keep getting flagged until someone on your team marks them handled.

What does it deliberately not do?

She never quotes a price you have not approved: you choose whether she quotes nothing at all or quotes only from a list you signed off on, at exactly your price, with your required disclaimer. She never promises discounts or free work, never tells a caller their car is ready when she cannot know that, and never says you are booked until your system confirms the appointment actually saved.

Who can see my customer data?

Your customer list stays in your shop management system, and we do not keep a copy of it. The records of the calls she handles are kept so your dashboard works, and personal details on those records are automatically redacted after 30 days. Each shop runs on its own isolated setup, and sign-in to your pages is limited to the emails you approve. The longer version is on our Trust and Security page.

Getting started

Setup, naming, and knowing it works

How long does setup take?

There is no software install on your side. You fill out one guided questionnaire about your shop, your hours, your staff, your rates, and what she is allowed to quote, then you finish the wiring on a real phone call with the founder. Nothing touches your live line until it has been tested against dozens of simulated callers. The $2,500 onboarding includes your first 45 days of service, so the monthly billing does not start while you are getting dialed in.

Can I pick the name and the voice?

Yes. Brooke is just what she is called at the founder's shop. Yours can be any name, with a female voice or a male one, and you decide during setup. The professional, warm tone is part of the platform itself, so whatever you call her, she sounds like someone you would actually hire.

How do I know it is actually working?

You watch it work. Every call shows up on your dashboard moments after it ends, with the recording and the full transcript, plus running numbers on revenue captured, hours saved, and after-hours calls that would have been missed. Behind that, a second AI reviews every call within the hour during business hours and flags anything off to a human, and every update is tested against dozens of simulated callers before it touches your line. You are never taking our word for what happened on your phone.

How is Sparviko different from other AI receptionists?

Sparviko is built only for independent auto repair shops, and that focus is the difference. Plenty of tools can answer a phone with AI. Only Sparviko also reads your live customer database during the call, so she knows the caller, their vehicles, and their service history, and she books into your existing shop system, not a side calendar your staff re-enters. For independent auto repair shops, we could not find any other single product that offers the AI receptionist, direct booking into your existing shop system, live customer recognition, Google review replies, the advisor caller pop, and the owner dashboard together at one flat price, and we looked hard. If you find one, show us. The honest side-by-side against your real alternatives, hiring another person, a human answering service, a generic AI receptionist, or an all-in-one shop platform suite, is on the comparison page.
